By Patty Roy

The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce is invested in the success of women, notably through its Women’s Success Network and is committed to helping women achieve success through creating support and inspiration for their personal and professional lives. In conjunction with the International Women’s Organization (IWO) theme for 2024, “Inspire Inclusion,” the BVCC is creating a virtual event via Zoom that is open to the public.

Natalie Hahn

The first class is Wednesday, April 24 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. with its subject “Breaking Barriers, Building Belonging, Empowering Women through Inclusive Success” presented by Lynn Whitney-Turner, a trained business coach with over 20 years of experience. She is the founder of CORE XP Business Solutions that focuses on people and culture with the objective of helping them remain agile in a changing business landscape.

On Wednesday, May 15 at 9 a.m. also via Zoom, Natalie Hahn  will lead a class addressing imposter syndrome (when you’re performing well but feel undeserving about your success) called  “Who Do You Think You Aren’t? Dismantling Imposter Syndrome.”
Hahn is the head of DGC (Dirty Girls Consulting) and says her business came into being because she wanted to help women find “their purpose and their joy in life.”
Communication, both at home and work has an enormous effect on our lives, she says.  Because clarity in our sense of purpose and the way we choose to fill our days IS what fills our lives.
”Stand in Your Power – 3 Tools to Define Your Success & Inspire Inclusion” with Michelle Lemoi becomes available via Zoom on Tuesday, June 18 from 9-10:30 a.m.
Lemoi spent more than two decades in the construction industry and offers life coaching to those who want to make a difference in their own lives first, and the lives of others. She is now pursuing a more caring path to help those “willing to dream big and design a life that focuses on women making themselves their number one priority.”
“Inspire Inclusion” has been launched by the IWO as a way to celebrate diversity and empowerment throughout the year and throughout society. It encourages everyone to recognize the unique perspectives and contributions of women from all walks of life, including those from marginalized communities. It calls for action to break down barriers, challenge stereotypes, and create environments where all women are valued and respected.
The event is a master class series endorsing this concept; the classes will provide assessments, profiles, lectures and take-away information.
One of the key pillars of “Inspire Inclusion” is the promotion of diversity in leadership and decision-making positions. Women, especially those belonging to underrepresented groups, continue to face barriers when seeking leadership roles. By championing inclusion, organizations and communities can harness the full potential of diverse perspectives, leading to better decision-making and innovation.
