Take Great Photos With Your Smartphone

Saturday, March 23

10:00-1:00

Take Great Photos with your Smartphone – The quality of smartphone cameras is improving rapidly. Their capabilities extend far beyond what some people primarily use them for... taking selfies. In many situations, they work quite well as stand-ins for 35mm cameras. It therefore is no longer necessary to drag around a heavy camera to avoid missing that great picture opportunity.

A good quality smartphone camera can work almost as well.

This class is for those interested in producing high-quality images with their smartphone cameras.

Please note: This class will not cover the taking of selfies.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!

This nationwide program is a fun, free way to build your child's early literacy skills, and we're here to help.

The goal is simple: read 1,000 books to your child before they enter kindergarten.

Developing literacy skills begins at birth and continues through the toddler and preschool years.

The best way to ensure a child has the skills necessary to learn to read is having someone read aloud to them.

All books count, no matter how many times you've read them or who is reading them to your child.

Your child will earn a prize along the way to encourage them to keep reading!

Children from birth to age five can sign up in the Children's Room in the Library.

Program sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
