Haunted mills of New England

Some souls linger beyond their lifetime. This Halloween season, join authors and paranormal investigators Thomas D’Agostino and Arlene Nicholson at the Samuel Slater Experience as they take you on a journey to New England’s most haunted factories and mills. This special presentation is complete with voices of the spirits who remain, featuring recordings and photographic evidence of what lies beyond our senses.
New England is the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Samuel Slater started the era in the 1790s and it was not long before factories sprang up everywhere in the region. The conditions were very dangerous and many tragedies took place. Some of those tragedies still reverberate within the walls of the ancient buildings. Although many of the early factories and mills have crumbled over time for one reason or another, the spirits that met with an unfortunate demise or were deeply tied to their place of employment still linger among the remains.
Hear their stories and their voices at the Samuel Slater Experience on Friday, October 23 at 5 p.m. Admission is $5 each. Purchase your ticket online, at the box office by calling 508-641-2955 or emailing [email protected]. Refreshments will be available for a donation.
