The Uxbridge Police Department will join the American Legion Riders – Post 33 of Uxbridge for the “Let’s Ride” Memorial Ride on Sunday, September 13, honoring fallen Uxbridge Police Officers Stephen LaPorta and Chet Dzivasen.

The memorial ride will also support the newly established Uxbridge Police Fallen Officers Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed by Uxbridge police officers and dispatchers.

The foundation’s mission is to provide assistance to local students and dispatchers pursuing careers in law enforcement while honoring and remembering Uxbridge’s fallen officers, Officer Dzivasen and Officer LaPorta.

The “Let’s Ride” Memorial Ride will bring together members of the community, fellow law enforcement officers, motorcycle riders, friends, and supporters to remember Officer LaPorta and Officer Dzivasen and honor the service and sacrifice of fallen officers.

The event serves as an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance and support the foundation’s mission of honoring those who have served and supporting the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
