Old Home Day is Coming to Charlton August 31
Old Home Day is Charlton’s summer highlight, always scheduled around Labor Day and always a great time.
Established in 1897, the event celebrates the community spirit of a small town with backing by local businesses and organizations.
The activities are free and residents of Charlton and neighboring towns are welcome, along with friends, families and acquaintances. Enjoy games, athletic challenges, vendors, good food and music.

5 Mile Road Race – 9 a.m. at the Common
Charlton Garden Club Flower Show at Old Home Day – Come Visit Us at Our New Location on the Common! 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Stop by to take in beautiful and unique floral designs created by members and displayed at on our booth on the Common.
Kids Fun Run - The Charlton PTO will be sponsoring a fun run around the Common for kids ages 2-12 years at 11 a.m. Race line-up and stretching at 10:45 a.m. Registration is $10 per child.
Awards Ceremony at the Bandstand 1 p.m.
Parade –Steps off from Overlook, 88 Masonic Home Road at 3:30 p.m. Business or organization floats, carriages, bikes and wagons.
Music – Holdin’ Back: The ‘60s 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Oakland Stroke (‘70s East Bay Funk Sound) 2-3:30 p.m.
