Mental Health Concerns in Older Adults Presented by Blackstone Valley Partnership for Public Health, Tues. Aug. 14 10-11 a.m. This program aims to reduce the stigma regarding mental health conditions that affect older adults. The presentation is geared towards educating older adults, their family members, friends, and loved ones. Participants will learn about the health impacts of social isolation, signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety, and better understand that emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being are just as important as physical health when aging.

Beginner Painting Class Thurs. Aug. 15 from 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Fun-filled acrylic finger-painting class of a field of flowers. Use or hands or gloves. Using 2 paintbrushes for the project. Cost is $5 per person.

Planning for Medicare Thurs., Aug. 22 at 10:30 a.m. This program is geared towards individuals approaching Medicare Eligibility.
