The Oxford Police Deaprtment announces the promotions of Sergeant Michael Gifford to the rank of Lieutenant and Officer Ryan Kasik to the rank of Sergeant.

Earlier this year Chief  Michael Daniels held an assessment center promotional process. This process consisted of a written examination, with a passing score of 70 or above candidates moved on to the assessment portion which consisted of several scenarios.

“Lt. Gifford and Sergeant Kasik have dedicated their lives to our great community and represent the culture that the Oxford Police Department stands for. We wish them well in these next chapters of their career, and we thank the citizens of Oxford for your continued support of our police department,” he said.
