Town of Dudley hires Assistant Town Administrator

The Town of Dudley has hired Olivia Antonson as Assistant Town Administrator. Her position began on July 1.
“Ms. Antonson is eminently qualified and has a vast wealth of relevant experience and internship,” Town Administrator Jonathan Ruda said. “We face modern challenges; we need modern solutions.
Olivia will bring fresh eyes to the Town Administrator’s office and the modern skill set that is required to give Dudley an edge that will move our community into the future.”
Ms. Antonson graduated summa cum laude from Nichols College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and graduated from Indiana University with a Master of Public Affairs with a concentration in Local Government Management.
She began with the Town of Dudley in September 2021 as a Municipal Administration & Operations Intern. She held the position for 11 months before leaving to attend graduate school at IU.
She returned to Dudley in May 2023 as a Special Projects Intern.
During her second year of graduate school, Ms. Antonson balanced a full-time course load, while
holding internships with Dudley and the City of Bloomington, IN.  She was hired in Dudley as the Assistant Town Accountant in May 2024.
“I see the position of Assistant Town Administrator as the next step in my career, and I believe there is no better place for this progression than the Town of Dudley,” Ms. Antonson said in her cover letter, “I am committed to working diligently each day to keep this Town on a positive trajectory.”
Ms. Antonson succeeds Assistant Town Administrator Michelle Jervis, who retires July 1, 2024. The pending vacancy was posted internally at Town Hall and the Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library from June 6 to June 13, 2024, followed by an email to all employees advertising the vacancy. Ms. Antonson was the sole applicant.
