The Charlton Library Genealogy Group meets monthly on the first Thursday  of the month from 6:00-7:30 in the Community Meeting Room. Meetings alternate between general discussion topics and guest presenters. Tonight will be a general discussion.

Sourdough Starter Workshop with Sourdough Brandon

Learn how to make, maintain, and store a sourdough starter from sourdough baker and food blogger Sourdough Brandon. You’ll leave with many tips and tricks on how to keep your sourdough starter active, what to make with your starter, and even leave with some free sourdough starter!

Bees and Beekeeping

Join John Hedly, local beekeeper and member of Worcester County Beekeepers Association, to learn the basics of beekeeping. Topics to include: Starting a beehive; The physical structure of a beehive; The bee colony and its organization; Bee chores in and out of a hive; Collecting honey; The importance of pollination. Motown Hits and History 
Concert Performance

In this one hour concert, Melodious Zach will perform Motown favorites, and entertain you with Motown trivia. Featuring songs from artists such as: Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Jackson 5, Four Tops, and many more. Zach will also discuss the cultural significance of Motown and how it changed over the years. This concert is free and open to all.
